There are so many time zones, work schedules and lifestyles that it was impossible to choose the perfect day and time for the live certification. Also from personal experience, going to a live-training feels over stimulating and often leaves you with unanswered questions… you don’t know what to ask in the moment and when the questions come, the teacher isn’t there anymore. Am I right or am I right?

When the program is self-paced with an open enrolment and no end date, you can ensure the certification fits your life, your schedule and your circumstances, without the stress or rushing. This also allows the students to rewatch modules in the future if there are questions that come up, take time to integrate and embody the practices and most importantly, do it at pace that feels wholesome for their nervous system. Another massive perk is lifetime access to the material INCLUDING all future updates to the manual, new modules and bonus material.

Once you register for the certification, you get access to all the content on the Podia platform. You need to watch all the core content modules and go through the entire manual, then you simply book your 30min Attunement call with Timea. Please note, you do not need to print the manual if you don’t want to and you do not need to watch the bonus material prior to the Attunement. It’s called a bonus for a reason!

Once you have completed the core content and have a list of your questions, you can book a 30min call with Timea. Once you have your questions answered, you will be given the Reiki Attunement. Yes, you can be attuned virtually! Don’t forget Reiki is energy and energy has no bounds to space and time. Plus, a Reiki Master has access to multiple Reiki symbols that can ensure the Reiki “finds you”, wherever you may be in the world. The Reiki doesn’t “work better” or is “stronger” just because you are physically closer. You will still feel the Reiki Attunement, even though it was through zoom.

Not a problem! As you go through the material, keep a list of your questions. Timea will answer them for you when you book your 30min Attunement call. If questions arise after the Attunement, simply send your question to hello@theurbanhealer.ca and Timea will either create new content around your question or answer it directly via email.

The core content takes about 3 hours to get through. This can be a cozy binge session going from start to finish in one day or taking your sweet time and watching the content in intervals. There is additional content to strengthen your spiritual practices, lean into deeper self-care and help regulate your nervous system on a daily basis.

Absolutely! I have been attuned by multiple Usui Reiki masters. Not because one program was lacking or not good enough, but simply to receive multiple perspectives, dive deeper into the wisdom, hear more stories, experience a new way of learning and teaching.

Firstly, Reiki Level 1 is mainly for self-care and self-practice. With your level 1 you can only practice Reiki on your own body and for those you are close to (must be in person). You cannot accept any financial compensation by being a level 1 practitioner. Secondly, many people get certified (even up to Reiki Master) without ever sharing the Reiki with others or starting a business. Consider this as a curious yoga student becoming yoga certified to explore the art of yoga, learning the finer details and gaining practical knowledge to use in their own practice.
